Iranian Letter...
I found a copy of the official translation of the recent letter from Iranian President Ahmadinejad
to President Bush. Here is a link to a .txt file of the letter:

I think anyone interested in the current situation in Iran and our tensions with Middle Eastern nations should read this. It shows that people like Ahmadinejad is more level-headed than our government would have us think and that the ultimate goals of coexistence between "them" and "us" are not that far off (minus the "Israel does not exist" bit).
I hope our government sees this letter as an attempt to find common ground instead of spouting off the typical "these extremists must go" response. Either way, I think most Americans don't care about what's going on over there, just that there is not another blunder like the current war in Iraq.
